Eligibility Criteria for JEP MSc Progression Scholarships:

International students are eligible to apply for JEP MSc Progression Scholarships. A list of eligible countries includes:

  • Various countries in Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania

To be eligible for these scholarships, candidates must:

  • Be citizens of one of the eligible international countries.
  • Be classified by the University of Dundee as international fee-paying students.
  • Not be enrolled in a Ph.D. program.

Additional requirements for each scholarship tier:

  • To qualify for a Tier 1 Scholarship (£9,000): Applicants must have an average of at least 78% (15/C1) in their Y1–Y3 core modules for the BEng (Hons) Biomedical Engineering (Joint Education Program with Northeastern University China).
  • To qualify for a Tier 2 Scholarship (£5,000): Applicants must have an average in their Y1–Y3 core modules of the BEng (Hons) Biomedical Engineering (Joint Education Program with Northeastern University China) below 78%/15/C1.

Application Procedure for JEP MSc Progression Scholarships:

No separate application is required for the JEP MSc Progression Scholarships. Eligible students will automatically be considered for the scholarship.

  • Proof of English language proficiency (IELTS – 6.5)

Requirements for Admission:

Candidates must hold a UK degree with lower second-class honors (2:2) in biological, biochemical, or biomedical sciences or a closely related field.

Required Language:

Applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency through recognized exams such as IELTS with a minimum score of 6.5.
