Terms and Conditions:

  • Students must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program at Queen’s University Belfast for the first time to qualify.
  • Eligibility will only be determined based on the final marks released by the awarding bodies at the time of registration and enrollment.
  • The scholarship will only be accessible once the student has chosen to live on campus (or with another contracted provider) and has completed enrollment in an undergraduate degree program.
  • The £2,500 contribution will be paid directly to Queen’s (or another contracted provider) and is not exchangeable for cash or refundable.
  • The £500 cash payment is for the first year of studies.
  • The scholarship is applicable to students from England, Scotland, Wales, the Channel Islands, or the Isle of Man who are paying £9,250 in tuition fees.
  • The GB Scholarship does not apply to applicants for the Queen’s colleges at Stranmillis and St. Mary’s, Agricultural Technology, Medicine, Dentistry, or Foundation Degree programs.
  • Applicants who receive an offer via UCAS Clearing and Adjustment are not eligible for the GB Scholarship.
  • All decisions made by the Scholarship Allocation Panel on undergraduate scholarships are final, and no appeals will be considered.
  • The university reserves the right to revoke the scholarship and demand reimbursement of any funds previously awarded if it is discovered that a student has provided false information about their eligibility or other aspects.
  • If a student receives an undergraduate award and leaves their program before completion, they may not be required to repay the scholarship funds received.
