Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the Tongarewa Scholarship at the Victoria University of Wellington, applicants must meet the following criteria:

International students who are paying full tuition fees.
Commencing their first year of an undergraduate program or beginning a postgraduate program.
Certain categories of students, such as those who have completed the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) or Foundation Studies Programme, attended a secondary school in New Zealand, were Study International or Twinning students from one of the university’s partner universities abroad, or were enrolled in Victoria University of Wellington’s same degree program’s second year, are not eligible for this scholarship.
