The DeepMind Scholarships at Queen Mary University of London aim to promote and support underrepresented groups in pursuing postgraduate degrees in the fields of computer science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The DeepMind Scholarships are available for the following programs:

• MSc in Artificial Intelligence
• MSc in Computer Science
• MSc in Computer Games
• MSc in Machine Learning for Visual Data Analytics
• MSc in Robotics

Value of DeepMind Scholarships:

Each DeepMind Scholarship includes the following benefits:

• A living allowance of £15,480
• A yearly travel scholarship of £2,200
• A one-time equipment award of £1,700
• Tuition fees covered, which are £12,250 for international students (total value: £28,950)

Eligibility for DeepMind Scholarships:

To be eligible for the DeepMind Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a student from the UK or abroad.
• Belong to underrepresented groups in the fields of computer science and artificial intelligence, specifically identifying as female or as being of Black ethnicity.
• Have a commitment to enroll in one of the specified programs at Queen Mary University of London in September 2023.

Interview Process:

A selection committee will review applications and select five students to receive the scholarship. Applicants will be notified of the outcome by July 31, 2023.

• A copy of the offer letter received for enrollment in one of the eligible Queen Mary programs.
• A completed application form along with a brief statement (up to 500 words) outlining qualifications for the scholarship and reasons for choosing Queen Mary University of London.
