Benefits:

The Global Curtin Merit Scholarships cover the following benefits:

  • A 25% reduction in the first-year tuition fees for eligible recipients.
  • The scholarship amount is capped and cannot exceed 25% of the first-year tuition fees or 200 credit points.
  • It may only be fully applied to students who are completing at least 400 credits in their major course.
  • For students completing at least 300 credit points in their major course, the scholarship covers no more than 25% of the first-semester tuition costs.
  • The scholarship specifically covers tuition fees and is credited to the recipient’s fee account by the census date of the study period.

Eligibility Criteria for Global Curtin Merit Scholarships:

To be eligible for the Global Curtin Merit Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Citizens of all countries except Australia are eligible to apply.
  • The scholarship is available for undergraduate and postgraduate study in the following faculties:
    • Faculty of Humanities
    • Faculty of Business and Law
    • Faculty of Health Sciences
    • Faculty of Science & Engineering: Science courses, Engineering courses, Western Australian School of Mines (WASM)
  • All undergraduate degrees are eligible for international students except for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery programs.
  • The scholarship is open to students commencing full Curtin undergraduate or master’s programs by coursework.
  • Applicants must meet Curtin University’s higher academic cut-off score established specifically for this scholarship.

Application Process for Global Curtin Merit Scholarships:

No separate scholarship application is required for the Global Curtin Merit Scholarships. Applicants can apply for their chosen Curtin program online through Curtin University’s registered education agents or apply directly to Curtin online. The scholarship will automatically be considered for all eligible applicants.
