This scholarship aims to promote gender diversity in STEM fields and empower female leaders in energy-related disciplines.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Nationality: Open to Australian citizens
  • Requirements:
    • Enrolled in the 1st year of an eligible engineering degree program at the University of Newcastle.
    • Full-time enrollment status.
    • Attained an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) or equivalent of 75 or higher.
    • Female gender.
    • Not concurrently holding another University of Newcastle donor-funded or sponsored scholarship.

Acceptable Courses or Subjects: This scholarship is available for students pursuing any of the following eligible engineering programs:

  • Bachelor of Aerospace Systems Engineering (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Computer Systems Engineering (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Honours)

  • Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Renewable Energy Engineering (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Software Engineering (Honours)

    • Personal statement outlining academic achievements, career aspirations, and how the scholarship would assist.
