Position Overview
This position is responsible for conducting repairs and restoration works of damaged vehicles. He/she will also analyze vehicle damage, provide a cost and timeline estimate, plan and schedule vehicle repairs and painting. This role requires good knowledge of mechanical repairs and troubleshooting skills, good communication and technical skills, strong problem-solving, good business knowledge, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze motor vehicles to understand the extent of repair and restoration required.
 - Check and prepare accurate estimate for body/paint repairs.
 - Communicate with customers and make a note of their customization requests.
 - Provide customers with an estimate of cost and timeline for conducting vehicle repairs
 - Keep customers up to date with the repair work progress
 - Oversee the dismantling and assembling of various vehicle parts and components.
 - Plan and schedule vehicle repairs.
 - Carry out refinishing and repainting work.
 - Operate recovery vehicles to ascertain their functioning.
 - Assign job to body/paint technicians.
 - Ensure repairs are done according to approved cost and time estimates.
 - Supervise body and paint repairs.
 - Advise customers on repair options.
 - Ensure safety compliance and keep the work area clean and safe.
 - Adhere to the safety guidelines and health protocols at all time.
 
Requirements
- Minimum of O’Level certificate
 - Certification in vocational training is compulsory
 - Minimum of 3-4 years’ relevant experience
 - Spray painting, general welding, and brazing experience
 - Familiarity with mechanical, metalworking equipment, spray painting, and welding tools
