Eligibility Criteria:

  • Countries Eligible: Citizens of Afghanistan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lebanon, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, North Korea, Oman, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Syria, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and Yemen.
  • Entrance Requirement: Applicants must:
    1. Hold citizenship of an Asian country (excluding the People’s Republic of China).
    2. Be in good health condition.
    3. Hold a Bachelor’s degree or be graduating students, typically aged 35 or below (born after April 30, 1983).
    4. Demonstrate academic excellence, integrity, responsibility, and an open vision.
    5. Appreciate the mission and vision of the AFLSP Program.
    6. Stay enrolled as a full-time student at Zhejiang University if admitted, and actively participate in university activities.
    7. Agree to sign a student commitment letter stipulated by the Bai Xian Asia Institute.
  • Language Proficiency:
    • For Chinese-taught programs: HSK level 4 certificate with a minimum score of 190-210, depending on the program, or higher-level HSK certificate. TOEFL or IELTS certificates are also accepted.
    • For English-taught programs: Internet-based TOEFL score of 90 or IELTS score of 6.5 (or above), except for English native speakers.
  • English Language Requirements: Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate proficiency as required by the University.
