The University of Waterloo, often referred to as UWaterloo, UW, or simply Waterloo, is located in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. The main campus spans 404 hectares (998 acres) of land near “Uptown” Waterloo and Waterloo Park. In addition to three satellite campuses, the university has four affiliated university colleges. The university is organized into six faculties and thirteen faculty-based schools that oversee its academic programs.

Waterloo University operates the largest post-secondary co-operative education program globally, with over 20,000 undergraduate students participating.
