Eligibility Criteria for the University of Manchester Humanitarian Scholarships:
To be eligible for the Humanitarian Scholarships at the University of Manchester, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be in grave danger as a direct result of armed conflict, and/or be displaced inside their native country or have been compelled to leave it within the previous three years due to armed conflict.
- Not be able to enroll in or finish higher education.
- Have not previously pursued any form of education in the UK or the EU.
- Possess a letter of acceptance for admittance in September 2024.
- Be able to demonstrate their understanding of and dedication to their chosen subject.
- Have a strong academic background.
- Applicants who are already residents of the EU or the UK are not eligible to apply.
Application Procedure for the University of Manchester Humanitarian Scholarships:
- You must first receive an offer of admission to the University of Manchester. Scholarship applications will not be considered without a prior offer.
- You can apply for undergraduate courses through UCAS (https://www.ucas.com/). For guidance and details on applications, visit the university’s applications webpage.
- For postgraduate courses, apply online through the university’s website. Ensure you already have an unconditional offer before applying for the scholarship.
- When submitting your scholarship application for a master’s degree, include a copy of your letter of unconditional acceptance.
- The application period for scholarships opens on March 1 and closes on April 15, 2024.
