About SOAS University of London:
The School of Oriental and African Studies, known as SOAS University of London, is a prominent member institution of the University of London and a public research university located in London, England. Established in 1916, SOAS specializes in the study of Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. It is home to one of England’s five national research libraries and hosts the Brunei Gallery, featuring exhibitions from these regions.
Scholarship Benefits:
Each Anthony Dicks Memorial Scholarship is valued at £5,000.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the Anthony Dicks Memorial Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Reside in a developing nation (a list of developing nations is provided).
- Not have spent at least a year of your academic career studying or working in a high-income nation.
- Hold an international equivalent of a first-class honors degree from a UK college.
- Have an unconditional offer of admission (without pre-sessional English language) to study the LLM full-time at SOAS by the scholarship deadline.
Interview Process:
Selection for the scholarship will be based on academic merit and the information provided in both your online entrance application and scholarship application. The selection committee will evaluate degree results, references, statements, and other relevant information.
Notification:
Notification of the selected candidates will be sent by the end of July 2023. If you do not receive a notification by then, it should be assumed that your application was unsuccessful.
