The Schwarzman Scholarship program is designed to prepare the next generation of global leaders and is the first scholarship created to respond to the geopolitical landscape of the 21st Century. It offers the world’s most promising students the opportunity to develop their leadership skills through a one-year Master’s degree at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. Schwarzman Scholars are selected based on their academic aptitude and intellectual ability, leadership potential, entrepreneurial spirit, ability to anticipate and act on emerging trends and opportunities, exemplary character, and desire to understand other cultures, perspectives, and positions.
Schwarzman Scholars will receive a comprehensive scholarship that includes the following benefits:

To be eligible for a Schwarzman Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be on track to complete their undergraduate degree before the grant period begins or be a recent graduate
- Be at least 18 years old but not yet 29 years old by the time the grant begins
- Be proficient in English
- Demonstrate excellence in their academic studies
