IARC Mid-Career Visiting Scientist International Awards in France

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) is delighted to announce the call for applications for the IARC Mid-Career Visiting Scientist International Award, inviting individuals passionate about participating in cancer research projects. This award is aimed at qualified and experienced mid-career investigators from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) who reside and work in an LMIC country and aspire to undertake collaborative projects in research areas related to the Agency’s programmes. Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of 2,820 Euros for a duration of 6 to 12 months.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Eligible Countries: Students from foreign countries are eligible to apply.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Postdoctoral position vacant at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC).
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    • Applicants must be from low- and middle-income countries.
    • Applicants must belong to the staff of a university, research, or public institution and must provide written assurance of a post to return to at the end of the period of the Award.

Benefits:

  • The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) will award selected candidates a monthly stipend of 2,820 Euros to cover the cost of travel for the Awardee, and in certain circumstances for dependents, along with the appointment for the position for a duration of 6 to 12 months.
