Benefits:
Successful candidates for the Graduate Research Scholarships at the University of Melbourne will receive the following benefits:
- Full tuition fee remission for up to four years for Ph.D. students or up to two years for Master’s by Research students.
- A living allowance of $34,400 per year pro rata (2023 full-time study rate) for the duration of the scholarship, which includes paid sick, maternity, and parental leave and is subject to annual indexing.
- Relocation grants of $2,000 for students moving from other States or Territories within Australia and $3,000 for international students coming from outside Australia.

Eligibility Criteria for Graduate Research Scholarships:
To be eligible for the Graduate Research Scholarships at the University of Melbourne, applicants must meet the following criteria:

- Applicants must have applied for and met the admission requirements for a graduate research degree at the University of Melbourne, or they must already be enrolled in one.
Application Process for Graduate Research Scholarships:
- New students who have applied for a graduate research course before the application closing date for that course will automatically be considered for the Graduate Research Scholarships.
- If you have accepted an offer for a graduate research course and deferred commencement to be considered for a scholarship, you must submit an online application form by October 31 to be eligible for a scholarship in the following year.
