Edinburgh Napier University is pleased to offer the Lawrence Ho Scholarships for the academic year 2023–2024. These scholarships are designed to recognize and support academically talented individuals from China and Hong Kong pursuing a master’s degree program at Edinburgh Napier University. About Edinburgh Napier University:
Edinburgh Napier University, known as Oilthigh Napier Dhùn Èideann in Scottish Gaelic, is a public institution of higher learning. It traces its roots to Napier Technical College, established in 1964 and named after John Napier, a Scottish mathematician and philosopher from the sixteenth century. In 1992, it became Napier University, and today, it is known as Edinburgh Napier University.
The university has three main campuses in Edinburgh: Merchiston, Craiglockhart, and Sighthill. Lawrence Ho Scholarships – Benefits:
Successful applicants will receive a scholarship award of £1,500 to assist with their college expenses.
Eligibility Criteria:
Eligible Countries: Lawrence Ho Scholarships are open to students from China and Hong Kong. Acceptable Subjects or Courses: The scholarship is available for postgraduate study in any field offered by the university. Eligibility Standards: To be eligible for the Lawrence Ho Scholarships, you must be a resident of Hong Kong or China and hold a firm postgraduate offer, either conditional or unconditional, from Edinburgh Napier University. Additionally, you must have paid your deposit toward your fees and meet one of the following criteria:
- Have earned at least a 2:2 in a UK honors program.
- Have achieved a lower second-class in a Hong Kong honors program.
- Have attained a 75% score in a Chinese Benke program.
