Focused on exploring the dynamics of complex systems, the cluster investigates controlled quantum systems across various scales, from small molecules to nano systems. Collaborating international researchers from physics, chemistry, and structural biology unite to observe, comprehend, and control these processes in Hamburg.

Eligibility Criteria:

    • Enrollment for a master’s degree at Universität Hamburg in physics, nanoscience, or chemistry.
    • Good grades in a Bachelor’s degree program in physics, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related subject
    • Enthusiasm for the research topics of the Cluster of Excellence

  • Scholarship holders complete the relevant master study curricula and have the opportunity to engage in optional research projects as part of the Cluster of Excellence “CUI: Advanced Imaging of Matter.”
