2023-2024 Eiffel Excellence Scholarships at University of Rennes, France

Description:

The University of Rennes, France, in collaboration with the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and CAMPUS France, is accepting applications for the EIFFEL 2023-2024 Fellowships of Excellence program. The aim of this program is to attract outstanding international students to pursue Master’s, Engineering, or Ph.D. programs at French higher education institutions.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Nationality: Applicants must have a foreign nationality. French nationals, even if they have dual citizenship, are not eligible.
  • Level of Study:
    • Master’s Level: Candidates who are already studying in France are ineligible. Priority is given to candidates entering the program in the first year (Master 1 or 1st year of Engineering Diploma).
    • Ph.D. Level: Priority is given to students studying abroad rather than those already residing in France.
  • Age Limit:
    • Master’s Level: Applicants must be 25 years old or younger as of March 31, 2023 (born after March 31, 1997).
    • Ph.D. Level: Applicants must be 30 years old or younger as of March 31, 2023 (born after March 31, 1992).

Scholarship Value:

  • Master’s Component: The scholarship duration is 12 to 36 months with a monthly allowance of €1,181 and direct support for various services.
  • Doctoral Strand: The scholarship duration is 18 months as part of a joint thesis or co-direction with a monthly allowance of €1,700 and direct support for various benefits.

Closing Date:

The application deadline for the EIFFEL Excellence Scholarships is November 15, 2022.
